With the arrival of Niece 2, that’s about the state I’ve been in, although I’m not half as methodical as I’m sure the bee is. Who knew a 14 year-old could be so exhausting? On the upside, Niece is so happy to have her sister here. Not that there hasn’t been some drama.
But I’ll save that for another post. 🙂
Meanwhile, I’m off to do some bonding with my girls this weekend. At this point, I’m trying to keep my head above water, but eventually I’ll catch my breath (or whatever appropriate cliche exists. . ..)

Having worked for years in a middle school, my advice is enjoy the energy and enthusiasm. Be a good listener. When all else fails, ‘I love you’ and a hug work wonders.. And don’t take any craziness personally. It’s because their brains are rearranging; its’s not you, and they’re normal.
Sarah! I might need to have your phone number – on speed dial. LOL. So far, so good. Not sure how long that will last since her mother (my sister) is headed back to Guam next week. Wish me luck!
