Welcome to Wordless Wednesday!
I love meandering through small coastal towns. There’s something about the crashing waves and the smell of the ocean that refreshes my soul. On a recent trip, I captured this:
For my writer peeps, what comes to your mind? Is this where a story takes place, or back story? What would it be about? A hero/heroine who grew up there and wanted nothing to do with it but is forced to return? Why? What about his/her past makes it so hard or easy to return? Does he/she end up staying?
Hope your muses continue to stay fueled up and ready to roll!

When I saw this picture, I thought how nice it would be to live there, with a view out to the ocean, and write full time! ~ Viola
Is this Depoe Bay? We stayed there for a writing retreat once. Quite inspiring!
Oooh, Ooh, I’ve been there! Is that around Depoe Bay? I know that view.
Love your photography! Miss you.
best,

I’m thinking about miss Marple in one of the films of Agatha Christy ! 🙂 And these little towns attract me also, it’s beautiful !
My wip’s setting is on a coastal town and the mc is doing all she can to get out and live near the mountains. Lovely picture. I want to be there!
Ahhh, just about every writer’s dream, huh? 🙂
Happy writing,
Melia
It is! I love that town, Jessa. And what a great idea to have a writing retreat there! When are you doing it again? I’m planning to crash it. 😉
