The Greatest Gift

This time of year brings a ton of excitement to the Alexander household. Between the presents, the food, and the company of family, what’s not to love?

From Niece 2 – totally made me crack up!

The greatest gift comes from the memories made with family and close friends, from the sense of community, and the belief that, even if for a brief time, all is right in this world.

Or maybe that’s just me. . .. *shrugs*

In whatever way you celebrate, the Alexander family wishes you and yours the happiest of holidays!

Merry Christmas!

  1. Love the coupon cards! We used to do that as kids instead of gifts. However, our cards were more like chores. Weed one bucket full. Wash dishes for a week. Vacuum the whole house, etc. Of course we were supposed to be doing those things anyway on a schedule, but the coupon cards allowed each of us to get out of it at some time by turning in the coupon to the other sibling. 🙂

I hope your Christmas was absolutely wonderful!

  2. Hi, Maggie!

I thought the coupon cards were pretty creative – I couldn’t help but laugh when I read the part that gave Niece 2 the option of accepting the coupons . . .. Or not! Too, too funny.

We had a wonderful, quiet Christmas. Stayed in our jammies all day. Played board games and watched movies, and I sat down and actually read for a bit – whee! Must plan more reading time into my day. I didn’t realize how much I missed it.

Hope your Christmas was as awesome as you are, Maggie!

    Hugs,
    Melia
