I love wandering through shops and scoping out what local artists offer, from pottery to woodworking, to clothing and jewelry. There are some uber talented people out there!
I spotted this necklace when I recently browsed my area’s local Saturday Market:
I love the colors! At first glance they shouldn’t coordinate, but do they ever work!
They reminded me of Sonia Spencer, one of the secondary characters in my debut book, MERGER OF THE HEART. While not exactly her style, these are the sort of color-combos that she’d play with. Her funky personality and wonderfully wacky view of the world totally captured my heart. So much so that I had to write her own story – fingers crossed that my editor will like it, too!
Have you ever spotted a piece of jewelry that you knew would be perfect on someone?

I want the whitr skull bracelet behind the necklace. 😉
Love those chunky colors, too! I frequently find jewelry that I think would look good on someone – ME! LOL Your blog makes me want to visit Saturday market. ~ Viola
I don’t think I have ever met a piece of jewelry I didn’t want or love 🙂 If a piece catches my eye you can bet I am going to find a way to own it. I just can’t resist…
I love theb old, sassy colors on the piece in the picture!
I have spotted jewelery for my daughter and my daughter-in-law that I think were spot-on.
Dang! Now I wish I’d taken a close-up of that one, Kate! Must go back and try to find it. . .. 🙂
So happy you stopped by!

Isn’t it wonderful when that happens, Sarah? Seeing something that reminds you of someone and makes you smile? I love that!
So happy you stopped by!
