Happy Travel Bug Tuesday!
Now, personally, I’d prefer the beach this time of year. And not anything like the Pacific Northwest type, you know. More like some place that doesn’t require a windbreaker over a really cute bikini.
But for those who actually like snow, a dear friend trekked through some hills in our part of the world, and sent me this pic:
Don’t know about you, but I’m thinking there are at least a couple of great stories here. Stranded damsel in distress? Or maybe a stranded hero saved by the heroine? Maybe he was running from some bad dudes, or chasing after them? Maybe he was saving the heroine! *Sigh*
What do you all think? I’d be interested in what you come up with, so please step up and share!
Happy travels,
Melia
What a wonderful and interesting picture. The footsteps on the right appear to drift off to no where. Hum… where did this person go? I wonder… there’s is definitely a story here… May I borrow the picture and see what I can come up with in 2015.. I shall give all credit back to you of course, and alert you when the story will be posted..
Happy New Year !
Take care and happy blogging to ya… 🙂
Oooh! I love this picture and can see some great possibilities.
A private plane has gone missing in a desolate wilderness area with millionaire pilot Sean Burton and his six-year-old daughter Lisle on board. Two days after the disappearance, winter survival instructor, Vera McFarland, and her dog come upon a man’s tracks in an area far from the search zone. She trails them for a couple of miles and finds the Burtons, cold but alive.
Can she get them to safety before the biggest storm of the decade traps them all on the mountain?
And what about Sean’s claim that the plane was sabotaged?
Melia, I’m going to post very shortly a Haiku using the picture you gave me approval to use .. I’m also linking back to your beautiful blog here as it is a treat for the eyes, and everyone should visit here often. Thank you once again for allowing me the use of the beautiful winter scene with the trees covered in snow. Hugs and happy blogging to ya… from Laura <3
The Haiku is beautiful! Thanks so much!!
